01 — Methodology

The Selection Process.

Dralun Lab selects products under the following principles: each item in the catalogue is reviewed for ingredient transparency before listing, supplier documentation is requested where available, corrections are noted in the catalogue record, and the selection team discloses any commercial relationships that could influence inclusion.

02 — Selection Steps

Five steps. Applied to every entry.

01

Ingredient List Review

The first step is always the ingredient list. Every product is assessed for a complete, legible list of components. Proprietary blends without full ingredient disclosure are not considered for entry. For body creams and lotions, the INCI (International Nomenclature Cosmetic Ingredient) list is the primary reference. For daily vitamins and supplements, the declared nutrient profile and excipient list is reviewed in full.

02

Supplier Documentation Request

Following the ingredient list review, the selection team contacts the supplier or manufacturer to request origin documentation for key components. For cold-pressed oils, the extraction method and country of origin are requested. For botanical extracts, the plant species and processing approach are noted. For vitamin complexes, the declared form of each nutrient is confirmed against available published information.

03

Formulation Integrity Assessment

The selection team reviews the stated concentration of active ingredients against the ingredient list order (INCI lists are ranked by concentration). Products where active botanical ingredients appear below preservatives or formulation components are noted as such in the catalogue entry. For supplement entries, nutrient concentrations as a percentage of the Reference Nutrient Intake are recorded where available. No claims about what a formulation will achieve are made in the catalogue.

04

Disclosure Check

Before any entry is published, the selection team confirms whether there is any commercial relationship between Dralun Lab and the brand being listed. If such a relationship exists — a sample provision, a referral arrangement, or any other material connection — it is disclosed in the catalogue entry. Entries without disclosure notes have no commercial relationship with the brand.

05

Ongoing Catalogue Maintenance

Published entries are reviewed when formulation changes are reported or when ingredient sourcing information is updated. Corrections to any catalogue entry are applied promptly and a correction note with date is added to the entry record. No entry is silently amended. Items that no longer meet the documentation standard following a formulation change are removed from the catalogue with a note on the reason for removal.

03 — Sourcing Standards

What the selection team looks for.

Cold-Pressed & Unrefined

For oils used in body cream formulations, the extraction method matters to the ingredient profile. Cold-pressed and unrefined processing retains a broader range of plant-derived compounds. The selection team notes the extraction method in each body care entry where the information is available from the supplier.

Botanical Origin

Plant-derived extracts in both the body care and supplement lines are reviewed for botanical origin documentation. The species and plant part used (leaf, seed, root, flower) are noted where disclosed by the supplier. Extracts without species-level documentation are recorded as such.

Supplement Form

For vitamins and minerals in the supplement line, the specific compound form (e.g., magnesium glycinate versus magnesium oxide, methylcobalamin versus cyanocobalamin for B12) is recorded where disclosed. Form influences how each nutrient contributes to the daily supplement routine and is a primary consideration in the selection record.

04 — Ingredient Transparency

The list before the claim.

The primary commitment of the Dralun Lab catalogue is to ingredient transparency. Before any product is listed, the selection team reads the ingredient list in full. For body creams and body care formulations, this means working through the complete INCI list and noting any ingredients that may be present for texture, preservation, or fragrance rather than for nourishment.

For daily vitamins and supplement entries, the declared nutrient content is reviewed against reference values where available. The selection team does not make any claims about the effect a supplement will have on an individual. The catalogue notes what the product contains; what it contributes to a daily routine is for the individual to assess, ideally in conversation with a qualified wellness professional.

Products listed in the Dralun Lab catalogue are selected based on published ingredient information and reviewed for sourcing transparency before listing. No independent laboratory assessment is conducted by the Dralun Lab selection team.

05 — Quality Approach

Body Care Line Standards

  • Complete INCI list reviewed before entry. No proprietary blends accepted without full disclosure.
  • Cold-pressed oil entries preferred and noted. Extraction method recorded from supplier documentation.
  • No claims about what the body cream or body moisturiser will accomplish for the individual. Catalogue language describes the formulation, not an outcome.
  • Fragrance and preservative components are always listed and noted in the catalogue entry where they appear prominently in the ingredient order.

Supplement Line Standards

  • Full nutrient profile reviewed. The specific compound form for each vitamin and mineral is noted where disclosed.
  • Vitamins 50+ considerations noted in relevant entries. B12, D3, magnesium, and zinc entries include reference to everyday nutritional balance documentation.
  • No health claims. No language suggesting the supplement will support, boost, or contribute to any specific outcome beyond what the nutrient reference data states.
  • Excipient and formulation component components listed in full. Capsule material and coating information noted where available from supplier.
